Serbia’s accreditation board to sign agreement with European co-operation for Accreditation in May

Following three years of negotiations, the Accreditation Board of Serbia (ATS) has received confirmation on signing an agreement with the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA), thanks to which ATS’ certificates and reports will be recognized on a global scale. The deal will be inked in May during the 28th session of the EA General Assembly in Madrid, Spain. EA approved inking the deal during a session held April 18-19 in Copenhagen. During the May session, ATS will also become a full member of EA. Serbian businesses will greatly benefit from this deal, considering that they will be able to market their goods in the EU. ATS has been an EA associate member since November 2011.
